Let's take care of the soles of the feet.  Since legs are easy to swell at the turn of the season, it's better to frequently remove exhaustion from our feet.

Having a bath partly, like a foot bath is effective to get rid of swelling.
Pour hot water which is 40 or 41 degrees Celsius into a deep bowl and add a pinch of salt (just like cooking)!

(Caution) Please avoid having a foot bath if you have an injury on your feet.  A foot bath will increase the pain from the injury.
You will feel refreshed by having a foot bath for around 5-10 minutes.
Remove the old skin on the heel or the sole of the foot with special equipment which removes the dried skin.
The old skin could cause the reproduction of athlete's foot.  The more frequently you remove old skin, the better you can get rid of swelling.

Stimulate the arch of the foot in this season when you easily lose your appetite!
Air conditioning make your feel more tired.
To recover from "cooling disorder", which the internal organs are easy to become cold, stimulate the arch of the foot with a golf ball or a tube of cling film.  Massage the arch of the foot by moving your feet back and forth onto a ball or a tube for 1-2 minutes.


To keep your feet from being sweaty, getting heat rash or athlete's foot, we recommend to wear toe socks.  (It will keep your feet feeling refreshed.)


August
Are you consuming extra enegry because of this hot and humid season which is hard to even get a good night's sleep?
The best thing to get over this summer heat fatigue is in season summer vegetables.  Let's eat a salad or sunomono!


Cold ramen (noodle soup) with lots of vegetables will stimulate your appetite!
(You can add lettuce, cucumber, radish sprouts, cabbage or whatever you want.)
If you still don't have an appetite, try making a drink with vegetables.  You can enjoy drinking it by adding a frozen banana.

After eating vegetables, now let's take care of your feet.
First, stimulate the arch of the foot just like you did in July to assist your stomach condition.
If you have a foot bath in this month, we recommend to add pepper mint essential oil.  It really feels cool.
To enjoy it, pour hot water (around 38-40 degrees Celsius) into a deep bowl and add 3 or 4 drops of pepper mint essential oil.

A foot bath with essential oils has an anti-bacterial effect.  Enjoy the fragrance and relaxed feeling.
